Ingredients
- groundnuts 300gm finely grinded
- castor sugar 200gm
- plain flour 250gm
- canola oil 230gm
- salt 1 tsp
- peanuts chips 1 small packet
- 1 egg yolk for glazing
Method
- Mix the sugar, flour, salt, nuts till well mixed
- Add oil in a few additions
- Knead the mixture into a smooth dough
- Roll them into small balls like "tang yuan"
- Glaze the surface with egg yolk
- Place a peanut chip on it to enhance the crunch
- Bake for 15 - 20 mins @ 180 degC
